By playing on Perfect MU you agree to follow these rules. Violations result in penalties as described below.

Note: The arrow (→) indicates penalty escalation for repeated offenses. Serious violations may skip directly to permanent ban.

Relations with Staff

Server staff includes GMs, Administrators, and Owners.

1. 1.1. Players are required to show respect to server staff at all times. Any kind of disrespect toward server staff will not be tolerated. It is prohibited to insult, defame, threaten, or provoke server staff in any manner, whether in-game chat. Players are required to follow the directives provided by the server staff during gameplay and events. Disregarding server staff instructions or deliberately interfering with an event or server operation will be considered a violation of the rules. [penalty: warning→character ban 48h]
2. 1.2. Players are forbidden to spread information, without proof, regarding server staff actions, decisions, or character. Unproven accusations against a server staff of "bias" or "favoritism" will be treated as an offense. [penalty: warning→character ban 24h]

Player Relations

RMT is Real Money Trading.

1. 2.1. It is forbidden to abuse Dark Lord's "Summon" skill to teleport other parties with the intent of sabotage or disrupting farming. [penalty: warning→character ban 24h]
2. 2.2.* RMT attempting to trade in-game account or items for real money or virtual currencies equivalent to real money is highly prohibited. [penalty: warning→account ban 6 months]
3. 2.3.* RMT proven item sale for real money or virtual currencies equivalent to real money is highly prohibited. [penalty: permanent account ban for both buyer and seller]
4. 2.4. RMT proven account sale for real money or virtual currencies equivalent to real money is highly prohibited. [penalty: permanent account (both buyer and seller) ban]

PVP / PK

1. 3.1. Excessive targeting or harassment of a particular player or group (such as camping or repeatedly killing within a brief period to disrupt gameplay) will be regarded as abuse and could result in penalties. [penalty: warning→character ban 24h]
2. 3.2.* Abusing PvP bugs or exploits is prohibited. Unauthorized tools are handled under Rules 8.1 and 8.2. [penalty: warning→character ban 24h]

Fraud

1. 4.1. Impersonating staff or other players (nicknames, fake identities). [penalty: warning→permanent character ban]
2. 4.2. Submitting false evidence or false reports to harm other players. [penalty: warning→permanent account ban]
3. 4.3. Account theft, use of stolen credentials, or attempting to gain unauthorized access. [penalty: permanent account ban]
4. 4.4.* Intentionally deceiving another player during a trade to obtain items or currency is prohibited. Trade disputes without clear evidence are not handled by the administration. [penalty: item return or equivalent confiscation→permanent account ban]

Events

1. 5.1. Players under PK level are forbidden to participate in any kind of events organised by server staff. [penalty: warning→account ban 24h]
2. 5.2. When participating in a server staff event players must strictly follow event rules and server staff instructions. [penalty: warning→account ban 24h]
3. 5.3.* Engaging in disruptive behavior, including abusing event bugs, spamming chat, or deliberately hindering other participants, is prohibited. Cheats and hacks are handled under Rules 8.1 and 8.2. [penalty: warning→account ban 24h]
4. 5.4. During server events designated as "non-PvP," it is prohibited to kill other participants unless explicitly permitted by the event rules. [penalty: warning→account ban 24h]

Names / Guilds

1. 6.1. Nicknames, Guild names, and Guild banners must not contain vulgar, offensive, or inappropriate language, hate speech, discrimination, or harassment. Violations are confirmed via support ticket or staff agreement. [penalty: warning → permanent character or guild ban]
2. 6.2. References to other players & staff:
   1. 6.2.1. Nicknames or Guild names must not reference existing players directly.
   2. 6.2.2. Nicknames visually or phonetically similar to staff nicknames are prohibited.
   3. 6.2.3. Similarity is defined by ≥70% character match, ignoring case/special symbols, or easily confused pronunciation.
   Determination requires staff review and support ticket (website, Discord, or email) verification **within 30 days after character / guild creation**. [penalty: warning → permanent character or guild ban]
3. 6.3. Names and Guild banners must not promote politics, extremist views, or racism. Staff confirmation or support ticket required before action. [penalty: warning → permanent character or guild ban (guild deletion for banners)]

Chat

1. 7.1.* Hate speech, discrimination, harassment, ethnic slurs, threats, or offensive language. Serious, repeated, or targeted threats and harassment are handled under Rule 10.2. [penalty: chat ban 1h→chat ban 24h]
2. 7.2. Advertising other MU Online servers/websites. [penalty: permanent account ban]
3. 7.3. Political, religious, or controversial topics that cause conflicts. [penalty: chat ban 1h→chat ban 24h]

Exploits & Cheats

1. 8.1.* Using or attempting to use unauthorized third-party software, including bots, hacks, packet editors, memory editors, injectors, or any other tool that provides an unfair advantage, is strictly prohibited. [penalty: immediate permanent account, IP and HWID ban — no warning]
2. 8.2.* Modifying client files, game memory, network traffic, or normal game behavior to gain an unfair advantage is strictly prohibited. [penalty: immediate permanent account, IP and HWID ban — no warning]
3. 8.3.* Duplicating items or abusing economy exploits is strictly prohibited. [penalty: immediate permanent account, IP and HWID ban — no warning]

Donations

1. 9.1. Donations are voluntary and non-refundable. You receive only virtual goods. On chargeback/payment dispute. [penalty: automatically permanent account ban]
2. 9.2. Fraudulent donation methods. [penalty: permanent account ban]

Data Security & Player Protection

1. 10.1. Players are responsible for their account security. Sharing accounts is at own risk. [penalty: no support for lost/stolen accounts due to sharing]
2. 10.2.* Repeated, severe, or targeted harassment, stalking, or abuse outside PvP mechanics. [penalty: warning→permanent account, IP and HWID ban]

Ban Review & Appeals Policy

1. 11.1.* Ban appeals are allowed for non-permanent first-time offenses and for permanent bans issued under Rules 8.1, 8.2, 8.3, and 10.2. RMT and fraud-related bans are not appealable. Appeals must be submitted within 7 days of the ban. [penalty: appeal denied if ineligible or submitted late]
2. 11.2.* Appeals must be submitted via the official form in support page or Discord ticketing system. Submissions must include: ban reason, time, player’s explanation, and any supporting evidence. For appeals under Rules 8.1, 8.2, 8.3, and 10.2, the review determines whether the violation was correctly identified; a confirmed penalty is not reduced, and the ban remains active during review. [penalty: appeal may be denied for incomplete details]
3. 11.3. Each appeal is reviewed by **two (2) Game Masters**, with the final decision made by an **Administrator**. [note: no further appeals after final verdict]
4. 11.4.* All bans **lasting 30 days or longer** are logged internally with justification and supporting evidence. Admin may reduce or cancel bans if evidence of GM error or overreach emerges. [note: Admin discretion only]
5. 11.5. Abuse of the appeal process (e.g. false claims, spam submissions) may result in extended bans. [penalty: up to 7 days ban]

Auction Integrity & Credit Penalties

1. 12.1. Players must not sabotage the in-game Auction by placing bids and then intentionally failing to claim won items.
2. 12.2. If a player creates a fake or disruptive auction scenario (e.g., bidding with no intent to claim, blocking items for others), the full bid amount will be confiscated. [penalty: 100% of bid credits confiscated]
3. 12.3. If it is determined that the player attempted to hide or transfer the bid credits to another account during the auction, the penalty will also be applied to the main and/or linked accounts at double rate. [penalty: 200% of bid credits confiscated]
4. 12.4. After confiscation, the auctioned item remains in the auction system and is not delivered to the offending player.
5. 12.5. “Linked accounts” include any accounts reasonably determined by the administration to be under the same control (IP/device patterns, HWID, MAC, activity overlap, payment linkage, or other verified indicators).
6. 12.6. Repeated violations, organized abuse, or use of third parties to mask bidding intent may result in additional sanctions, including temporary or permanent account suspension. [penalty: suspension/ban possible]

Enforcement Notes*

• Penalty escalation applies to repeated or related violations. Administrators may skip intermediate penalties for severe or organized violations.
• Where multiple rules apply, the most serious applicable penalty takes precedence.
• Except for Rules 8.1, 8.2, 8.3, and 10.2, penalties may be extended to other accounts only when common control is reasonably verified.
• Common control is determined using the verified indicators defined in Rule 12.5.
• Permanent bans under Rules 8.1, 8.2, 8.3, and 10.2 apply to the offending account, IP and HWID, regardless of linked-account status.

* Updated 28.07.2026: cheat, hack, item duplication, economy exploit, RMT, harassment, and trade fraud rules were clarified or strengthened. A 7-day appeal remains available for permanent bans under Rules 8.1, 8.2, 8.3, and 10.2 to verify whether the violation was correctly identified. Related enforcement rules were clarified to prevent conflicting penalties.
